Day 1: Hosapete - Hampi (50mins ; 27kms): Welcome to Hampi! Day 1 begins with your arrival at Hosapete, where you’ll be picked up and driven to the majestic UNESCO World Heritage site of Hampi. After checking in and freshening up at your stay, we’ll enjoy lunch before heading out to explore the northern side of Hampi. Our sightseeing includes a visit to the historic Anegundi Palace, the serene Chintamani Math, and nearby ancient caves. If time permits, we’ll also visit the Hanuman Temple, known for its panoramic sunset views. Dinner and an overnight stay in Hampi will wrap up our first day of this incredible journey.
Day 2: Hampi Sightseeing: We’ll begin the day with a delicious South Indian breakfast, and then head towards South Hampi to explore its rich heritage. Our first stop is the sacred Virupaksha Temple, followed by a visit to Kadalekalu Ganpati, from where you can soak in the stunning views of the temple complex and the surrounding village. Next, we’ll continue with the iconic sights of Ugra Narasimha, Badavi Linga, Pathaleshwara Temple, Lotus Mahal, Elephant Stables, Hazara Rama Temple, and the Queen’s Bath. After lunch, we’ll explore the magnificent Vithala Temple Complex, known for its stone chariot and musical pillars. As the day winds down, we’ll return to the stay, relax in the evening, enjoy dinner, and settle in for another peaceful overnight stay at Hampi.
Day 3: Hampi - Aihole - Pattadakal - Badami (3hrs 30mins ; 155kms): After breakfast, we’ll begin our journey towards Badami, with guided tours en route to Aihole and Pattadakal. Aihole is known as the cradle of Indian temple architecture, showcasing some of the earliest and most experimental temple designs. Pattadakal, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is famous for its stunning blend of North and South Indian temple architecture. Post lunch, we’ll proceed to Badami, check in at the hotel, freshen up, enjoy dinner, and settle in for an overnight stay at Badami.
Day 4: Badami - Return Journey: Post breakfast, we’ll visit the famous Badami Caves, renowned for their stunning rock-cut architecture and intricate carvings that date back to the 6th century, showcasing a rich blend of Hindu and Jain influences. After exploring the caves, we’ll return to the hotel, check out, and enjoy lunch. Later, we’ll drop you at Badami Railway Station for your return journey—taking back with you the beautiful memories of this unforgettable tour.
