ITINERARY :

Day 1 – Guwahati to Shillong:  On arrival at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station, transfer to Shillong (approx. 100 km | 3 hrs), also known as the Scotland of the East. En route, visit Umiam Lake (Barapani), where you can enjoy optional water sports. On arrival, check in to the hotel. In the evening, visit Police Bazaar, the main local market. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 2 – Shillong | Laitlum Canyons & Krang Suri Falls: After breakfast, proceed to Laitlum Canyons for stunning views. Later, visit Krang Suri Falls, one of Meghalaya’s most beautiful waterfalls, where you can swim in the natural pool and even go behind the falls. After lunch (own cost), return to Shillong. Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 3 – Shillong Local Sightseeing : After breakfast, visit Don Bosco Museum, Ward’s Lake, Botanical Garden and Lady Hydari Park. Evening is free for personal activities. Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 4 – Shillong to Cherrapunjee via Mawlynnong & Dawki : After breakfast, visit Mawlynnong Village, known as the cleanest village in Asia, famous for its Living Root Bridge and the unique balancing rock. Later, proceed to Dawki near the Indo-Bangladesh border and enjoy boating on the crystal-clear Umngot River. In the evening, continue to Cherrapunjee. Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.

Day 5 – Cherrapunjee Local Sightseeing :  Early morning, enjoy the scenic views of Cherrapunjee. Visit Eco Park, Dainthlen Falls, Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, Mawsmai Cave and Thangkharang Park. Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.

Day 6 – Cherrapunjee to Guwahati : After breakfast, check out and drive to Guwahati (approx. 160 km | 6 hrs). En route, visit Elephanta Falls and Mawkdok Valley. Overnight stay at Guwahati.

Day 7 – Guwahati Departure : After breakfast, visit Kamakhya Temple  Later, transfer to Guwahati Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey.
Note: Temple visit may be done on the previous day depending on departure time.
